This Privacy Policy describes how YTSEO AI (YTSEO: YouTube SEO AI Tool) (Android package: com.appzephyre.youtube.seo.tool; website: https://www.ytseoai.com), developed and published by AppZephyre ("we", "our", or "us"), handles information when you use our mobile application and website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. Information We Collect
We collect and process information needed to provide app features, including:
•
Account information, including email address, account identifier, and authentication information when you use email/password or Google Sign-In.
•
Email subscription preferences and campaign submission records. Promotional email is on by default and can be turned off at any time in Settings or via the unsubscribe link; push-notification permission does not affect email.
•
SEO analysis inputs and results, credit records, and recent analysis history associated with your account.
•
Firebase Cloud Messaging device token, notification preferences, delivery records, and notification-open events when you enable Android notifications.
•
Analytics and advertising data collected by Firebase Analytics and Google Mobile Ads when those services are used.
•
Purchase and subscription transaction information processed by Google Play and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide account access, analyze YouTube content, maintain credits and purchases, improve the app, show ads where available, send notifications you enable, prevent abuse, and provide support. Limited settings and cached data are stored locally and can be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
We use Resend to send important account and service messages and, unless you unsubscribe, promotional emails. Resend receives your email address and message content, which may include your account profile name. You can disable promotional emails in Settings or use the unsubscribe link in a promotional email. Unsubscribing does not disable important account or support messages. Campaign and acceptance records are retained for delivery troubleshooting and abuse prevention; acceptance is not proof of delivery.
3. YouTube Data and Google User Data
Public video lookups: when you paste a YouTube video URL, the app sends the video ID to our server-side proxy, which calls the YouTube Data API v3 to fetch publicly available video metadata (title, description, tags, view count, like count, channel name, and thumbnail). It is used only for the SEO analysis you requested and is not stored beyond the request.
Connecting your YouTube channel (optional): on the My Channel screen you can connect your channel with Google OAuth. We request only these read-only scopes:
•
youtube.readonly — to read your own channel profile, public statistics and list of uploaded videos
•
yt-analytics.readonly — to read YouTube Analytics reports for your own channel
Google user data we access:
•
Channel information: channel ID, title, handle, thumbnail, country, subscriber count, total views and video count
•
Your uploaded videos: video IDs, titles, publish dates, thumbnails, durations, view, like and comment counts
•
YouTube Analytics for your channel: views, watch time, average view percentage, subscribers gained and lost, traffic sources, YouTube search terms, top countries, device types, and Shorts vs. long-form split
We do not access your Gmail, contacts, files, private messages, payment data, or any non-YouTube Google data.
How we use it:
•
To display your own channel dashboard, analytics charts and growth suggestions to you inside YTSEO AI
•
Only if you explicitly join Monetization Sprint: show your channel name, avatar, subscribers, estimated long-form watch hours, progress and rank to other signed-in users, and let admins review your entry and monetization-target reward claims (subscribers, watch hours and any optional note) for credit rewards
•
Aggregated channel statistics may be sent to our AI service solely to generate a personalized insight shown to you
•
Access is read-only: we never upload, edit, or delete anything on your channel
•
We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or to train or improve AI/ML models, and we do not sell it
How we store and protect it:
•
The OAuth refresh token is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage in our database (Supabase); access tokens are kept only in memory during a request
•
A snapshot of your channel report is cached so the dashboard loads quickly
•
All data is sent over HTTPS/TLS, and database access is restricted with row-level security
How we share it: we do not share or transfer Google user data to third parties, except our infrastructure providers Supabase and Vercel acting on our behalf, our AI service (aggregated statistics only, not retained for training), the creator metrics you explicitly opt to display in Monetization Sprint, or when required by law. Humans do not read your Google user data without your explicit consent, unless needed for security or required by law.
Retention and deletion:
•
Cached channel report snapshots are refreshed or automatically deleted within 30 days
•
Sprint metric observations expire after 30 days. Leaving the sprint or disconnecting removes your public entry and metric history. A hashed entry identifier prevents duplicate entries/rewards. Frozen award decisions and credit/audit records are retained for accounting without historical subscriber or watch-hour measurements
•
The encrypted refresh token is kept only while your channel is connected
•
Tap Disconnect on the My Channel screen to revoke access with Google and immediately delete the stored token and all snapshots
•
Deleting your account permanently deletes all connected-channel data. You can also revoke access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
